Hi, I’m a Therapist.

I specialize in providing trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, gender-affirming and anti-oppressive individual and couples therapy. In individual therapy, I strive to support equity-seeking groups including but not limited to racialized folks, immigrants, and members of the LGBTQIA2S+ community who are seeking support to navigate interpersonal relationships, depression, anxiety, life transitions, and family dynamics. In couples therapy, I work with couples at all stages of their relationships (married, unmarried, or preparing to get married) to navigate relationship distress and repair connection, with a special interest in helping folks navigate interracial and intercultural relationships.

“You don’t heal by changing who you are; you heal by learning how to be yourself in the world.”

— Katherine Morgan Schafler

I integrate various evidence-based approaches in my therapy work including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), emotionally focused therapy (EFT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), internal family systems (IFS), mindfulness, Gottman method couples therapy, and attachment-based therapy. I believe human connection and positive relational experiences are crucial to healing, so I strive to show up in therapy as my authentic, genuine self and hope to support you in doing the same. Coming from an intergenerational perspective, I also view the relational experience of therapy as a way to both heal from generational trauma and celebrate generational resilience.

I am currently accepting new clients for individual and couples therapy at Bloom Psychology & Wellness!
